Mount Batur Sunrise Hike with Guided Experience
Embark on an early morning trek to the summit of Bali’s active volcano, Mount Batur, led by a local guide. Enjoy a light breakfast and refreshments as you watch the sunrise over Bali’s stunning landscapes.
Begin your elephant experience! Scrub and wash the elephants for 10 minutes. Refresh with a shower and towel provided afterward.
Feed the elephants, capture memorable photos, and explore the park. Visit the museum and the Elephant Discovery Information Centre.

RUN DOWN – TIME ESTIMATION:
- Pick-up Time: To be advised based on your hotel location.
- 03:00 – 03:30 – Arrive at the Mount Batur Hiking Base Camp and enjoy light refreshments including tea, coffee, and local cakes.
- 03:30 – 09:00 – Begin your guided Mount Batur sunrise trek. The hike to the summit takes approximately two hours, where you will enjoy breathtaking sunrise views over Bali’s volcanic landscape (weather permitting). After sunrise, descend back to the base camp.
- 09:30 – 10:30 – Enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant in Kintamani while admiring panoramic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur.
- 11:30 – Arrive at Mason Elephant Park and complete the registration process.
- 11:45 – 15:00 – Enjoy the Elephant Bathing Experience, including:
- Elephant bathing at the lake (10–15 mins).
- Elephant Hand Washing (10–15 mins), followed by a shower (towels, soap, and shampoo provided.) Please bring a change of dry clothes/swimsuit.
- Hand-feeding the elephants (includes 1 fruit basket).
- Access to the museum, Discovery Information Center, art galleries, botanical garden, Park Theatre, and Treetop Walk.
- Enjoy lunch at the park’s restaurant.
After the elephant experience, transfer back to your hotel.

- Mason Adventures covers insurance for participants aged 8–75 years.
- Payment should be settled online (if you experience issues with your card, please chat with us for assistance).
- Pick-up areas: Kuta, Legian, Canggu, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Denpasar, and Ubud.
- Reasonable and fair pricing—meaning strictly NO HIDDEN FEES.
- Private tour service: There are no other participants; the vehicle is exclusively for you and your companions.
- Cancellations made before 17:00 (5:00 PM) on the day before the trip are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
- Late Cancellations: For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip, a 25% cancellation fee will apply.
- Same-Day / No-Show: Strictly no refunds will be issued for same-day cancellations or if you fail to arrive at the scheduled time.
- Rescheduling Policy: Bookings are generally non-refundable for a full cash refund, but we are happy to assist with rescheduling your date free of charge if you inform us at least 24 hours in advance (subject to availability).
- Unforeseen Situations: In case of unexpected events such as bad weather, natural disasters, or operational issues, we will gladly help arrange a new schedule or provide credit for a future visit. Alternatively, if a refund is preferred, a 5% service fee will apply to the total payment.
